Thanks for the chart Dunadoni.  I think I may put some in tomorrow or the next day.  It is right on the trendline, as well as the 50day.  A run to 3.40 would be about 30%, and it looks to be fairly safe.

Yes, it looks safe :)

So which chart is the best to use huh? ;)

Both... Doesn't matter... They basicly show the same thing... I just though I would show a simplified version...

LEE or LEI Vegas?  Could be me, because I'm older huh!  ;D

 ???  LEI

Well looks like we are right on the bottom trendline now.  I am sooooo close to putting some money in.  Tomorrow we shall see!

Also note the +DI and the -DI on the chart... Tomorrow is do or die day for your theory...  ;D

Yep I saw them also.  If we hold the trendline and they ricochet off of each other, I am getting in!

Looks like any positive move should be a buy signal...

Well I think that is how it usually works  ;)

I will point out though that the RSI has resistance at the 50 line, and the stock is slightly below the 50day.  I do not mind the small dip below the 50 day as this stock as done this before.  I am going more off the trendline.  Tomorrow will tell one way or the other.

If I got in and it broke the trendline to the downside I would probably sell.  Lately I have felt like pulling the trigger very quickly after a key support is broken.  If I was feeling more flexible and it broke the trendline to the downside, I would use the 200day as my "absolutely sell no matter what why in the world are you still holding" point.  Right now that 200 day is only 10% away.  I do not mind the risk of an at max 10% loss vs the reward of 30% or so.

Well I added some shares.  The position I have is not huge (by my standards - remember I'm a small fish), but it is decent.  I added because we are right on the bottom of the trendline.  If we cannot bust through the RSI 50 I will sell, and my loss will be minimal.  The volume is not very high on this stock, but with it being $2.50+ and the fact that I do not own many shares, I am sure I can get out easy if I need to.

I will think of this as a "somewhat" risky bank account with a decent interest rate!  It makes sense to me to have my money sitting in something like this, instead of collecting dust in my account while I wait for something to catch my eye.

Yep but it is okay.  I only lost a little more than the cost of commissions.  I pulled the trigger very quick with this one!

Ok. This is my first attemp to post a chart or to ask a question about it... it may look normal to you guys, I still feel like a cat trying to find my way out of a bag here. So here's the question: looking at this chart between the DEC and 12 section, what is that called that has happened there... is that what a gap looks like?

I can't get the chart to post :-[  it is alxa that I am trying to figure out in that section
this might be it....

You need to click "linkable Version" on the bottom of the chart.  The link you have now just pulls up the Dow by default.

You are correct those are what gaps look like.  All of those gaps were filled as well.
