I think this is the first time I have noticed a stock chart where the MA(200) is off the chart so to speak...

Saw it many times, even charts where you can't see it, are relatively common.

Do you mean the gap on March 12? It was already filled.

this looks like a potential pump and dump.... the question is it a pump and dump that could be played today and maybe tomorrow, or did it go too high for today if not already in? (I don't know what those patterns are earlier in the chart except possibly a bunch of gaps?)

Alos the ma50 crossed the ma200, was that a pincher? Thanks

I do not know if it is a P&D or not, but, you do not want to play a chart like that!

Vegas has a good explanation on how pinchers work under the pincher section:

Looks more like the MM's or the insiders are artificially moving the price trying to create some action in the chart... Would probably be easy to buy and nearly impossible to sell... Not sure if you would call this a P & D but you could very well call it a POS...

Sometimes a quick news check will reveal a lot about a stock...

"Not sure if you would call this a P & D but you could very well call it a POS..."

okay you made me laugh out loud.

I often forget to go to the yahoo finance section, thanks for the reminder.... but here's an additional question. Whoever played this externally (not insider or MM's) had a really good day if they got out at the top, right? So sometimes a POS or P&D can be played--- or, Vegas, are you explaining that there probably were no external players and this was all 4 show basically.-?

No, usually all of this type of trading is done between themselves... It is like I give you a 1.00, you give me a 1.10 back, I give you a 1.20, you give me 1.30 back, and so on... They jump the stock price and mainly the volume up doing this but their actual dollar cost doesn't change, it is all the same money... You can usually buy shares but surpringly, when you want to sell, their are no buyers... That is because they will only buy amongst themselves...

One of the main reasons I always check the news to see if there was anything to justify a 700% gain... Unless they found the cure for cancer, the answer of course is no... Mina Mar the company mentioned in the news article are true P & D  specialist...

This is a delayed response to you Vegas, thanks for the explaination... to new people like me  this would read as somthing an investor should be happy about:

"Mina Mar Marketing Group, MMMG (www.minamargroup.net) offers publicly traded companies a full array of services, such as Investor Relations and maintenance investor awareness."

Translates to we do P&D's !!  Thanks!!

First time I've seen a chart that gaps so often.  The price actually moves more on gaps, than normal trading hours.
