Chart setup
« on: May 29, 2008, 10:14:06 AM »
I have tried to mirror the sample charts listed here, is there anything I missed?

I have setup my scottrade charts with:

Upper Indicators: Parabolic SAR, Bollinger Bands, & Price Channel

Lower Indicators: MACD, RSI, & DMI

Follow the current prices between the Bollinger bands...most of the time it follows the green ADX

Hi 829

Welcome to my forums.

I have just two little suggestions to complement Tommy's advice, change the range of the chart to "Fill the Chart", you have a much better overall look of the chart, and change the Volume from Overly to Separate, this helps to see the chart more cleaner and better identify the important points (support, resistance, etc.)

I strongly advice make these changes.

Here is the chart: http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=MGI&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p98412552016
