I have a Macbook laptop and have alot of info on here for my business that would really help if i can transfer it all to my phone and have it on the go.  Plus i can have a bunch of movies and music stored on their from my itunes collection.

I dont know if any of you have experience with macs or not but i have been really impressed with apple.  I first got an ipod, then a macbook ( after having a PC all my life ) and i love how simple it is.

Right on.

Everybody complains about how expensive macs are, but i believe in "you get what you pay for".

Due to your conversation here I googled cell phones and found this site, you can have a blackberry for free with some plans, I also found a very interesting offer, look on the left side of the site there is a link to DISH Network TV where you can have a TV Network installed for free, here in Germany you don't have this for free, you Americans are lucky guys  ;D.

Here is the link to the site: http://www.tmicell.com/?aid=28593

Im not worried about money.  If the Iphone provides me with what i need and i can make trades easier and faster on the go then i will pay more for it.  When i was messing with the blackberry it literally took 5 min just to get to my brokers page.  The Iphone took about a 1 and a half min.  I dont want to miss out on a good run just because i have a slow phone.

Just to chime in here, I have a Samsung Blackjack which is 3G (AT&T) and also an IPhone which is Edge. Without a doubt the 3G is way faster. I've never traded through my phone, but would think with the Blackjack it would be no problem - as fast as it is. I really like the Blackjack it is a nice phone, however, the IPhone is just better, more intuituve, cooler, on and on .... If they actually release the IPhone with 3G, it will be as close to the perfect phone you can get, in my opinion.

Also of note, since Apple recently released the IPhone SDK, Microsoft is working on porting their Office utilities to the IPhone, something I am very much looking forward to.

Scott, you are right, the 3 G is suppose to be alot faster.  But when i was playing around with them, the Blackberrys had 3G and Iphone had Edge but yet seemed faster ??? ???

You know what alot of stores do is allow the IPhone to connect with their wifi, which of course is faster. I'm not sure about the Blackberry but my Blackjack is not wifi compatible even though it is 3G. So in the store the IPhone's would seem really fast, but when solely on the EDGE network the speed is greatly reduced. This really should not be that hard to implement though as AT&T already has the 3G running so adding it to the IPhone should really not require much. It will be perfect then (other than it's not free, heh).

No, when Iphone goes 3G you have to get a whole new phone.  Its retarded.  But when i started to play with the Iphone i secifically told him to switch it to the edge network so i can get a feel for the "speed''

That's what I meant, hardware wise it shouldn't be that hard to do.

I went looking for an Internet Phone Today. The best Deal I could Find was on a HTC Touch, get the Phone for free on a 3yr Plan and then only $15 a month for Unlimited Internet.
