Did not sell my shares. Might buy more on monday to average down, if goes lower. But i think this will be back at my purchase price by tuesday ! This is a good company at a cheap price. Everyone got the opportunity to buy FORD for under $2, did anyone on this board buy  ;) you'll regret it !

I am pretty worried about motor companies. I was watching fox news today and they were talking about how the next 18-36 months are going to be really crucial for the motor companies. It pretty much sounded like they were in trouble. I know its a tremendous value at that price, but I am worried about the stock. My dad works at GM and they have offered him a buy out of 140k, twice now. In the last so many years, they pretty mcuh filtered the production down to half of what it was. Now i see on the news they are talking about more layoffs and possible plant closings. I dont know, I dont see how this kind of talk can add value to the stock, just yet.

What do you think? I was watchign the F stock today though. It dropped down to 1.80 something today, I was close to buying it, probably should have, but im hesitant.

Rlordi, you might get another chance to buy on monday if the Dow goes down again. But if market rallies next week, so will F and GM. I personally think that anything under $1.90 is a deal, at least for me.

It's trying to find a bottom, but, still too soon to enter, auto makers are stopping the production in several factories in several countries, Ford, Opel, BMW, etc, this is just the beginning, they will fall further.

Ford has been having a nice little run.... Should do well today as Ford announces it will sell off Volvo in a smart move...

I got in this at @ 1.70 I almost sold today @ 3.10 and decided to wait. I  know I am supposed to "sell on the news" or should I sell before the funding passes.

Is this thread dead...?
I got in last march, ish, @ 1.08 and was wanting to see if anyone thinks this stock will go up in value any more...
with 2000 shares of F, I could probably go out and buy me an almost brand new Ford SUV or large truck for Christmas, lol
I never figured Id hang on to this stock this long, but the value & volume has just slowly climbed and Im not sure how much more it'll keep it up...
anyone think it's possible Ford will see the days of 20 to 30 dollar shares again???

Good one.  I also saw this when it was low.  I was so new to trading though so I didnt invest in it.  I knew it would be at this point too again.  Wish I would have been in it with ya.  That and SIRI.    Now go buy a truck!
