Hi guys is there any good brokers anyone can suggest I tried signing up for TDAmeritrade but it won't allow anyone in Canada to sign up :( right now i'm using TD bank and the comission fee is killing me 29 dollars...

That's interesting that TD Ameritrade won't let you sign up. How come? I know that is what doc uses and he is in Germany, weird...

and ouch at $29 per trade !

My TDAmeritrade account is very old, 1998 or 1999, I used first Datek, was also bought by Ameritrade, but, now they do not accept people from Germany and many other european countries, that is because of a law that was approved after the September 11, something related with terrorism.

2 Online brokers that I have been looking at are www.tradefreedom.com and www.questtrade.com

I asked a CA friend of mine and he mentioned:

might be worth a look ...
