I had to step out for lunch, was worried my stop was going to be activated @.53.  Would I get penalized for canceling a stop order?

How many times can I modify a stop order?

I also feel very strange that absence of volatility on a stock with such a big gap down, I think someone is manipulating the stock. Let's see tomorrow, the close today was very weak.

I am very much out of luck in my life.   Everything I invested that ones went down.   I researched and listened to Doc as much as I could but still dropped on the ones I bought.

Pls give some juice God.

Listen guys, to those of you who have taken "big" losses, you must realize that there are several things you may or may not be doing properly.

1) The stock picks that you find at this site should give you insight and ideas, do not take them as sure winners. The Dr. finds these stocks throughout the day and realizes some trends in their graphs that should indicate a rapid, upward spike in price and value. In the case of KERX, it is one of the rare stocks that have dropped 90% in value and not recovered a penny (at least up until now)....

2) Please do not put your life savings in on these volatile ideas.... You are practically gambling at that point.... If you want something surefire, you can look to longterm mutual funds or etfs that report between 10%-20% returns on your money. In twenty years time (hopefully your somewhat young or middleaged!) the interest on those funds can be extremely rewarding...

3) Prepare to invest on these ideas with money you can see yourself without, if you are here to get rich overnight, get prepared to be poor overnight too, cause these stocks are volatile and could go either way (notice the Dr. mention the word "rollercoaster" when he speaks of some of these stocks)..... Do not put your full and complete trust in someone else's ideas..... See what they have to say, combine it with your own research, and then make your decision. At the end of the day, YOU are the one who clicks the place order button, nobody else...

Im sure most of you know these things, I just dont like seeing people say "Oh pretty please God, why are you doing this to me!! I never win!!" The stock market is not a place for the feint of heart or those who are financially unstable, you should always be prepared to take on some losses. These stocks in particular behave unexpectedly, but sometimes they spike up and you make money. But please realize even though KERX had a decent presentation this morning, the market is in shambles right now and investors are considering where they can pull money from, not where they can pump their money into.... When one of the biggest financial institutions in the entire world goes practically bankrupt overnight, it will put fear into investors.....

I await better results from KERX, just as we all do.... But if it doesn't happen, take it as a learning experience and look into a more proven sector then the biopharmaceutical areas of the market...

People, people, please cut out the negativity and whining. :'( This is the name of the game. Some days you win, some days you lose, even the best of the best lose money on a constant basis. The trick is to try to make more than you lose. Trading is not an exact science. With all due respect, if you cannot handle the thought of losing every single penny that you have invested in penny stocks, then this is not the game for you. There are other methods of investing that are much safer. ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO LOSE! If you cannot stand the thought of losing $1000, then only invest$500. If you aren't willing to lose $500 then only invest $100! And forget about getting rich overnight - the way you make it, is one trade at a time. You make $100 on one trade, $50 on another, lose $30 on another, make $20 on another, etc. etc.
I am no expert. I have lost thousands along with many other investors on stocks that seemed that they had no where else to go but up.
Over time, I learned from my mistakes, and I am still learning. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. Many times I have lost because of hasty decisions and impatience, something I have learned to get under control. Think it through before placing a trade and always have an exit strategy. More importantly, get the negative thinking out of your head! It will not help you, and it will spread like a cancer throughout this message board.
The market is BRUTAL! It really is! You have to be able to take the highs and the lows, otherwise, maybe less risky stocks like preferred stocks or mutual funds or ETFs or even Bonds are more up your alley. Only you know what you can handle. I wish you the BEST! Good Luck! :)

Tess,

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you... most everything i buy tanks, but i have gotten lucky a few times and hit a couple good ones which has kept me going... also i look at the % gain and % loss charts and i still see stocks hitting 500% - 1000% GAINS - even with how bad the market is right now and the trick is to find them and get in them when they are low... which is why i'm now paying attention to the DR. for any additional help in finding these POTENTIAL gainers bacause i'm no pro at this either and the odds of hitting one are extremely low...

The other thing to keep in mind is most of us are more than likely only loseing hundreds to thousands of dollars... the so called and labeled PRO's are loseing Millions even BILLIONS of dollars...

We are here to play a game and it's one we can all win togather... stick with this site - do as much of your own research (I will do the same) learn as much as you can, help each other out as best you can and we can ALL win at this game togather...

KEEP THIS POST KICK'N

Best of luck to ALL!!!!

I just wanted to say to all of you who have posted on this topic that I am very impressed with you.  I think this just may be the only board where emotion and reality has been displayed truthfully.  I think it says a lot for the types of members we have here on this site.  I am proud to be a part of this.  Good luck to you all.  Thanks Doc....and Tommy.

Just curious - I noticed a lot of premarket action in Kerx - any sell and hope to buy in back in the .50s later this morning?  The highest I saw the ask was .83, but I wasn't following it very close.  Curious as to what prices people got.

eta.  oh wait - there havent been any sales.  sorry stupid post.

Any early opinion on this one Doc?  If we see it tanking, do you advise dumping?  or if it holds, should we?  just checking- advice always appreciated.
