I had some of my homemade last night while swatting mosquitos..
Made some Cherry Bounce... It will not be ready for awhile... I have to field test it..
Also have some Strawberry wine fermenting...
Hey I know about them #$% mosquitoes. To bad we cant bottle them and sell them to the Chinese. What is in your Cherry bounce? Strawberry sounds pretty good. Just talked to a freind of mine who made some crab apple , I havn't taste tested yet but sounds good.....
2 cups fresh cherries, washed and dried
1/3 cup granulated sugar
peel of 1 lemon
3 cups bourbon (or enough to cover)
Use a quart or jar if you can
Don't mash the cherries
put all in the jar
seal the lid
gentle shake
Place in a window for couple of weeks of sun
then place in a closet (cool) for a week or two.
gental shake the last couple of days..
Watch for fermentation (pressure build UP) we're not making wine here..
