Hi doc or tommy si there a really good site where it teaches you from the beginning how to analysis a chart.. and all the vocabs used and such? Thanks doc/tommy

hmmmmmm, dont know one now, but stockcharts school is good to learn about the indicators and so on...

if you REALLY want to learn about TA i think it is a good idea to buy a book which teaches TA. i bought a small one, like 130 pages, and it helped so much. rest was analysing annotated charts and so on. (this book is in german, so i think no sense in telling you the name of it ;) )

hi, tommy... just one question. i'd love to know the title of this book you were talking about, or maybe just the author (that the book is written in german makes it much easier for me  ;D). i'm sure there are plenty of alternatives, but given that it helped you, i would like to try it out. thanks for helping. ejc.

Hey guys so no one has a ny suggestions for a good book on T/A? I've been searchin in Amazon for the last hour, but can only find either outdated T/A "Bibles"(600 pages or more) or just short "exciting" books that aren't really too realistic.

If anyone has any suggestion, it'll be greatly appreciated.

I am currently starting to read a book I purchased recently called "Technical Analysis For Dummies"... Paid about $15 - $20 bucks for it on the net. I did post the info here when I bought it. About 300 pages paperback and so far seems to be thorough and easy to understand... I bought it because one of the mods here had read it and recommended it...

Probably a much better way to learn as compared to message boards where you get bits and pieces of information and usually get many conflicting opinions and confusing information...

Here you go guys...

Believe it or not i really like the T/A for Dummies. I thought it was real easy to read for a newbie.  Also has charts in there to explain things.  I think it is a good "first" book.

If anyone else is interested in the book, T/A for Dummies, I shopped prices and ordered it for 16.81 including shipping from the following vendor... A person wouldn't have to learn much to get their moneys worth at this price... Yes, I'm a cheapskate!  ;D
