Today is the birthday of the US Marine Corps. Organized at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia on November 10 1775. Tavern owner became a captain in the Corps.

Thanks for serving this nation for 235 years.

Yeah, I was Navy, but spent 4/5 of my time with the USMC, and you identify. (Insert Stockholm Syndrome joke here).
I kid, because I deeply respect. Happy Birthday, Marines.
