Manipulation?

I'm just really getting into trading (the past 2 years), so i still have a lot of learning to do.  My question is, how can we tell when the MM's are manipulating a stock?  volatility?  what are the tell tale signs?

When you see trades at the ask, and the ask drops, or the ask and the bid, but, this can also be dilution, you need to see the size of the trades, usually they use 9,900,000 size orders to dilute.

is there a site that you recommend for real time quotes and/or that give the ability to see volume on individual trades?  I use my brokerage account through my bank, Wells Fargo, but there are many tools missing.
