If a thread is open in the "Short Selling Stocks" forum, is it OK to open a new thread in the regular buying stock forums for the same stock? ???

I've been wondering that myself..We're starting to duplicate and this causes search issues if people want to post to the short selling or regular thread..They may not look to closely...Although it does help when some want to short, but is a hinderance, IMO, with any general discussions...JIMO
I know not what I do.  So, I just do it....

The boards are total independent, it is ok to open a topic in the NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX board and open a topic to the same stock in the Short Selling Stocks board if that stock qualifies to that board.

Also, about the search, if you search for a stock and that stock has open topics in more than one board, you can see the name of the board below the name of the topic, doesn't make any confusion.

Yes, that is the purpose of having a "seperate" board for short selling.  Otherwise we would just put them in the regular boards

Nope, start one...

Are you using the search feature on the left...The one on the right isn't accurate...Use the one in the menu bar...
