Stock Charts

This is the best web site on the internet for stock charts, forget all the rest, I will give more info about how to take all the potential from this charts in the next days, just enter a stock symbol and click the GO button, you can customize the charts to your like, but, I do recommend use like my sample chart below, this is because if you use the charts the way I use, you will copy my style and you will only learn what is useful, my sample is the second link.

If anyone is looking for a real-time quote tracker or type II. www.quotestream.com is excellent, and the monthly fee is very affordable.

www.quotetracker.com is also a good free platform to watch your stocks.  You can even use it to trade depending on who your broker is.

This and stockcharts.com is all you need IMO

Dz,

I saw your post in the Options Trading forum - this site offers some free training on options trading.  They will try to sell you on their for fee classes, but you can still pick up a lot of tips on options trading from the free classes offered at this site.  These are live classes.  You have to register on the site to attend the classes, but I think you will find them worth your while -

Great Youtube Videos about technical Analysis, I just watched this Video to learn about the Averag Directional Index ADX.  So maybe it helps you out if you're a more visual person like me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Csq7gDnbapI They baysicly have a free video  library explaining nearly every Indicaor that is out there for free.

Thanks Eric... Looks interesting... Will check them out...

Here is a good link to book mark for those wanting to learn or better understand Technical Analysis from the basics... This guy has 77 video lessons that provide easy to understand information... Each video lesson is about 5 minutes long so you have time to absorb the information or re-watch each segment of the lesson until you understand it...

Eric & Vegas,

Thanks for posting these! The videos are helping me very much to understand more of these indicators and how to make a more informed decision. I use Streaming Quotes by scottrade, and they have +DM -DM  i assume that is is the same at +DI and -DI right?

Not positive but the symbols DM could represent Directional Movement which would be the same as +DI and -DI...

Doc - I have a question - Can you explain why these two charting sources display different data for the same stock?  For example one show it recently had a high of 18 while the other only 9.  Something is funny ...
