Thanks Vegas,  I've been playing some of the pinchers all of you recommend and doing pretty decent with them.  Just want to learn a little more about the tech side.

I know pincher plays are ones that drop and are on a rebound, but what technicals are you looking for.  Is one, when the RSI is below 30, and begins to come back up, + volume.

Thank you for the link. Until now, I had no clue of what a “pincher play” was. I am new to trading and I have been looking for a tutorial to help me understand the very basics of technical analysis.

For the past few days I have been reading other members posts and so far it has been an educational experience. It is very likely that I will join your paid membership. This is a great forum. Thank you guys!

That is an advanced presentation but it will give you an idea of what the pincher play does... This guy does a pretty good job of explaining it in detail...

A "pincher" is when the PPO indicator and the ADX(14) indicator come together tightly like a pinch.

This guy does a really nice video presentation of the pincher play... He uses a much more technical approach than I do so I learned a few things watching it...
