This is not a pincher, the -Di line has much room to run, the pincher pattern is when the green line of the MACD and the -DI line are almost touching.

Actually this is a pincher.  But its not a good one.  Been in a pinch for to long and usually pinchers get stopped at the 20 day MA after the bounce and its pretty close to that already.  A pincher consist of the MACD ( or PPO which is what i use ) and the ADX line, the -DI doesnt have to be touching the MACD line

Sorry Dzielak but this is not a pincher, it could be a pincher in the future, it could develop a pincher pattern, but, right now it's not a pincher, and yes, the -DI line and the green line of the MACD must be almost touching to provoke the technical reaction (pincher).

LOL, Doc and DZ are in a "pinching contest" Wink

My understanding of a pincher is from this website:

Doc, what do you think of this?

Like i said earlier, i dont think this is a "good" pincher, i woul not play it.  But it is in fact a pincher.Im not trying to argue with you Doc but i dont want people getting the wrong impression on what to look for with a "Pincher". Could you show me an example of your version of a pincher?
Ive alerted this board with many successful pinchers so i think i know whats a pincher and whats not.  Heres an example of MESA:
